Q: How will I find out about surveys?
A: We’ll send you an email invitation with a unique link to a survey. On occasions we will also send out reminder emails near to the survey closing date. You can also log in to the members area of our website using the Username (your email address) and Password you registered with, and select the Today’s Surveys menu.
Q: How often will I receive questionnaires?
A: We appreciate the time you provide in giving feedback, so we don’t send all surveys out to every panel member. We aim to send members a maximum of one survey a week and at least once a month.
Q: Do I need to fill in all the questionnaires?
A: No - participation in each survey is completely voluntary and members can unsubscribe from the panel at any time.
Q: Can I complete the same survey more than once?
A: No - this would unfairly affect or bias the survey results so it is not possible.
Q: How long will I have to complete the questionnaires after I get an email?
A: This will vary, but will be made clear for each survey. If you try to access a survey which has closed you will be told as soon as you try to complete it so you won’t waste any time.
Q: What happens if I have to stop filling in a questionnaire before I get all the way through?
A: If you have to stop and close the survey before finishing it, don’t worry, simply click back on the link that you have been sent and as long as the survey is still open, you will be able to finish it. Any previous answers will be saved, so you won’t need to re-answer all of the questions.
Q: How long will the surveys be?
A: We try to keep our surveys short. If a survey is much longer than normal, we may offer an extra incentive as a way of saying thank you for giving us more of your time.
Q: What will the results of the surveys be used for?
A: All the feedback from surveys will go towards making improvements to products and services, helping to inform television programme makers and schedulers, or helping to understand the audience better.
